Beta testing at the Vilas Tennis Academy

SevenSix recently traveled to the Vilas Tennis Academy in Mallorca to join one of their superb tennis camps.

A group of 10 ambitious tennis players, we set out to prepare for the forthcoming league season in Norway.

We experienced a beautifully sunny environment that entailed 2x2hour tennis sessions per day combined with trips to the beach and even a swim in the ocean to get us ready for the next day’s on-court activities.

It wasn’t just fun in the sun, as we did test out a beta version of on-edge processing (processing on iPhone instead of cloud computing).

This feature will be available to our users before the summer. This huge tech update will lead to faster processing time and a lot of new features. Also, no internet is required to analyze the technique.

The Vilas Tennis Academy was established by Guillermo Vilas.

The winner of 62 ATP singles titles and 4 Grand Slam titles, Guillermo Vilas is one of the most iconic champions of tennis. He was the first South American male player to win a Grand Slam title and has influenced the tennis world.

Some say that it was Vilas who brought the popularity to tennis in Argentina. Known there as Willy, he had become an idol and a cultural icon for the local community and his image with long hair held back by a thick headband became his trademark on court.
